Travel together
Families travelling together often do not fit in a standard car once bags, prams or shopping are added. A family taxi uses a larger vehicle so everyone travels together and comfortably. Depending on your group, that is usually a Hyundai Staria van or a GMC Yukon.
Typical trips
- Airport arrivals and departures with luggage.
- Visits to relatives in another city.
- Weekend outings, shopping trips and events.
- Hospital or clinic visits with an elderly relative.
Tell us about your family
When you request a quote, let us know how many adults and children are travelling and how much luggage you have. If you need child seats, say so in your request so we can confirm what is available.
Related options
For flights, see airport taxi. For larger family gatherings or weddings, bus rental may be more practical.
Choosing the right vehicle size
- Up to four passengers with light luggage: a sedan is usually enough.
- Five to seven passengers, or plenty of luggage: a Hyundai Staria or a similar family van.
- Families who want extra comfort on longer trips: a GMC Yukon.
- Two families travelling together: ask about a minibus or two vehicles.
